What does a human want? This question has puzzled many philosophers and thinkers of times. When a newborn baby is born, he cries when he is hungry and he also cries when he is irritated. As the baby progress and get to explore life as he ages, he starts to have desires which are appropriate to his current age. First, he only needed food and the comfort of his mother. Now as he advances in his age, he needs friends for play. He develops a sense of self and identity of himself as a certain being which he lacked in his infant stage. Now he cries when his object of desire is not fulfilled. Different human beings harbor different and unique desires. The young human may long for a beautiful love affair while the human in his 60’s will laugh at this age of young humans saying that these are stupid desires which he has no entry in his mind at the age of 60s. Now the 60s humans would want to relax and rest for their upcoming remaining life. Each human wants something through which he would expand himself which means the sense of his self is expanded. Each human seeks expansion either in the material or spiritual realm. Expansion is our basic desire of us. Human wants something through which they can attain permanent happiness or such a state of being. They search for their happiness in material objects. The objects of desire become important, which means the outer environment advancement alters the inner state of the human. Many great saints, mystics, and philosophers have said that “Know Thyself”. If we observe simple creatures such as ants, their basic want is to survive. They go out in the search of food and accumulate resources through different channels. Then they procreate. They are out for survival. If anyone attacks them, they are ready to defend themselves and give up their lives for that. Humans also do the same thing. Care for family, go out for accumulating the basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter. Most humans live in survival. Joy and happiness are being sold everywhere. Get that new phone and it will bring you joy! Then the person purchases the phone and he feels a sense of peace. After some time, again he gets trapped in that cycle where he feels as something outside of him will satisfy him or bring him joy. This cycle or process of finding your own self essence in objects is the basic principle of god. This universe is also expanding. The word “Brahma” in Hindu Advaita philosophy means to ‘expand ’. That word is denoted for god. We are also seeking expansion. This matrix of the world is built on this core foundation only. To make you seek fulfillment in objects. Humans want to express themselves in all manners. They express themselves through thought, speech, emotions, and feelings. Now, what does a human really want? Simple as it may sound but humans want to express their beingness through various methods to other humans. Every human is striving to be happy. If in the vicinity of another human, if they clash in the different ideas and beliefs, the humans repel them. In other words, you stay and bond with the people who bring out the best in them. They feel a sense of being in their own home when they are around us.

First of all, let us define what is meant by belief. Belief is meant by a repeated pattern of thinking which is generated by observation and experience of this universe. Beliefs are formed and structured in our minds since our childhood. There are many cases where people are hypnotized and have been made believe that they are specific animals and they start showing the behavior of such animals. Beliefs shape our current reality. Have you ever noticed that when you say, “oh I look fat, my body isn’t the right shape!”, “Oh, I’m not loveable”, etc. When we think these types of thoughts, the outer world also makes sure that we get what we believe and shows signs by arranging people, circumstances, and events in our lives, which in this case more solidifies our current beliefs. If we repeatedly speak to ourselves these phrases constantly, then the outer environment will make sure we get that belief manifested. That means someone will tease you on your weight or some of your potential lovers will notice that your body isn’t right because you are generating thought patterns that carry specific energy, frequency, and vibrations around your body, and hence that similar aspect of yours gets manifested. When two people talk with each other, I define it as an exchange of beliefs going on between two people. Both of them try to install their own beliefs into the other person. The more strong the person emits the signature of being authoritative, the greater the impact he has on the other person. An authority has the potential to penetrate your thinking mind and install the belief in your subconscious or your inner mind. when I used to believe since childhood that being fat is something which you shouldn’t be, that specific belief was handed down from the people and relatives to whom I was close. And here the authority was their own slim body! Now, why in the universe from this infinite variation and mixes of people, do you attract certain people and situations in your life? It’s simple, your recurring thoughts become your beliefs attract certain situations, and those beliefs make sure you get what you think about the most. Most people have that belief that “they are not lovable as they are”, they exude this belief from their body that, they should be altered in some way in their sense to be lovable. The question is not about beliefs that are good or bad, the main question is about are the beliefs serving you?
I once read that in Mexico some people believe in the grace of Lord Jesus to an extent that they get themselves bitten by rattlesnakes and still don’t die. Now how is this possible? In India, which is also known as the holy land of spirituality, there used to be and still are some spiritual gurus and sages who used to give ashes of burnt incense sticks to the disciples and would say to them that it had the power to heal all their calamities. Now the miracle used to be that the disciple possessing the ash powder would be automatically relieved from their problems. And in these miraculous experiences, the belief in ash was concretized in their psyche and they felt at peace when the ash was with them. Now, what do the sages do? Did they give him some special power? Or did they invoke the disciple’s self-confidence innate hidden in him with the help of a simple thing as ash? Now, what does it signify? For instance, If you would have given the same ash to the disciple would it work? It’s not rocket science to know whose power would work. Now the key understanding here is that any object which resonates between the authority and the disciple would work. You may not affect the disciple as much as the effect of the sage would be because of the respect that the disciple has for him. He had received the ash with holy reverence and the authority will invoke his hidden powers of self-healing.
In medical terms, this magic happens with the help of placebos. Similar magic, different authority. Now some people believe in doctors rather than sages or gurus because their thought patterns are being altered by many aspects such as higher education, environment, etc. They believe in doctors rather than sages. Even if the doctor gave a sugar pill(placebo) the patient will be healed by the power of his body intelligence (Subconscious mind). Now the patient will believe that the doctor was healing them and the belief in the doctor will solidify and freeze more into his subconscious mind.
Now, why do certain people from different parts of the world have different choices of their gods or idols?. We can see in the world that many people worship different types of gods. Now how did in the first place they started worshipping them
- Their authority in whom they respect chose that specific deity for them.
- Through personal experience, the person chose a particular deity.
I will give a simple example. When you were asking for that new toy when you were a child, depending upon your background you either threw a tantrum or prayed to a certain deity in the house or in the temple which you observed as you were growing up. Your wish got manifested and the parent or relative of yours gave you that same toy which you had in your mind you will have an ‘aha moment’ and your fulfillment of desire will be linked in a mysterious way to that deity, stabilizing this wonderful experience in the subconscious mind. I say this from my experience. There was a full drawing set I wanted when I saw a friend of mine had it. I came to my house from school and prayed to our deity, I just closed my eyes and said I want the set. I didn’t throw tantrums or anything. After some days passed, I received the same set from my uncle and I was wonderstruck on my birthday. That immediate experience got lodged deeply into my subconscious altering the belief about my diety and fixating it deep in my mind. Similarly, all people have such experiences and believe in their personal diety. God and you, the relation between those two is the crux of all scriptures and philosophies. if you want to genuinely help a human being I believe that we should first listen to him deeply without intervening with our shield of beliefs and get a breeze going on of his beliefs and then either try to increase his self-confidence in himself either by making him believe in himself or believe in god. Whichever way both will work.

“Desire” is a word that has spell-bounded many human beings since the birth of time. Desire means that we lack something and we want that object to feel whole or completed. Can we ever feel complete? What does it mean to be complete? What does wholeness mean? You may have many questions cluttering your mind. We all know that our only discomfort in life is that, our objects of desire fail to manifest. It drives us crazy. The job that we want, the car we want to purchase, the house we want to live in, the partner we always dreamed of, etc. Many things are there. The mysterious question is that, what do you deeply desire?
Let us assume you always wanted the car that you always dreamed of. By saving money you get that car and it makes you happy. You are in euphoria when you see that shiny metal object standing in your garage. Now the significance of that car is that it somehow fulfills your inner lack ness, Right?. That car fills some unextinguishable void of your mind. The mind was satisfied and felt contented. But when a few days start passing, the glittering of that object starts to fade through our minds. And a point comes when we see that it’s not the car but our attempt to have an expansion of ourselves (our identity). You buy a small home, moving from there you desire to have a bigger house. People always tell that be satisfied with what you have right now in your life. There was an ancient technique in this that people and the ancient seers knew that the inextinguishable thirst of your desire can never be fulfilled so they said that be contented in what you have and the peace of mind is yours. But the question arises that what do you mean by the peace of mind?
There was an ancient secret that the ancient seers knew that the world is eternal. All the scriptures point out that the construction, sustenance, and destruction of universes are going on since eternal time. First, you have to curb your desires to stay happy and contented but then afterward if you deeply look into this life that life shows you that it can provide you with whatever you want. Life is abundant and we are a part of it. When our desires get fulfilled, instead of being grateful we tend to increase our greed for life. I am not saying that greed is good or bad but the balance of greed (thirst of life) should be decided by the individual himself because there is no fixed boundary where you know that you should stop your greed and bury your dreams and wishes into your ground. Now the venerable buddha knew the whole picture and drama of the cosmos. He knew ‘that’ which he attempted to say through his teachings but never got to say ‘that’ simple one thing which is so simple that it cannot be said!. Now let’s see what happened.
First, Gautama saw the kingly life of his time. Then he had a major insight when he saw the harsh things of life. Then he decided to go out leaving the kingdom and search for truth. He exercised his willpower to death to unravel the truth. He desired the truth, the ultimate, and ‘he’ did everything, and when he sat under the bodhi tree frustrated and took a vow that until he will be enlightened he will never get up from that place. Then he got the whole picture in a split second. That split-second ‘aha’ moment had the power to engulf and swallow the whole eternity. That simple thing came and descended upon him. Because before ” he” did everything possible and he always deviated from it. But when he just surrendered to life, that dimension opened up in him and he got that which cannot be explained in words due to its unfathomable simplicity. It can be said, he didn’t get ‘that’ because it is not something to ‘achieve’ and he got that aha moment that it’s not achievable through “me”. So now he wanted to shower these diamonds of this ”ultimately unspeakable” upon other people, and that came out through his teachings. He said, “you are suffering because of your desires”.
Now, what does a common man wants? From the spectrum between poor and rich, that all his mind’s desires be fulfilled. It doesn’t matter if it is just for a one-time lunch or to conquer the whole world! The unfulfillment of desires makes the mind restless. Now any person who is perceptible enough like buddha knew that the very basis of creation is ‘desire’. Without desire, the creation could not get manifested. In Hinduism, the Advaita philosophy says that the brahman or the ‘ultimate’ had its first desire, that when the ‘ultimate knew it was the ultimate‘ the life or the first god with the power of Maya was manifested. Let us simplify this. You desire a bar of chocolate. That means a thought sprung up in your mind. It showed that from a feeling of contentment you came to a feeling of lack. From your state of rest, you came to a state of restlessness to acquire that object which is not “you” and it developed a sense in you that the state of restlessness will vanish when you eat the chocolate. Now to grab the chocolate, the mind with its intricate mechanism starts to take shape of the object. Now the intensity and thirst of chocolate will be directly proportional to the restlessness in your psyche and it will impel all your inner and outer organs to work in all manner to satisfy that desire. Until and unless you eat the chocolate, you won’t feel a sense of wholeness. When you eat the chocolate, the fulfillment you get is also directly proportional to the intensity and thirst of the desire. It is said since ancient times that the number of a person’s desires triumph over the number of particles of sand which are there on all the beaches of the world! So what is this all about? Life in its intricate nature seeks expansion from itself. The universe is expanding. Simply if you see that trees expand themselves and shoot branches in the air and try to reach towards the sky. The flower wants to expand its species and hence the pollination. What’s going on? Now the question is that is desiring for someone, some object, is bad? we have learned that desires drive us restless. We know all this from our experience. Until and unless the desires are fulfilled we don’t get a sense of contentment. Now when our all intense desires are fulfilled then what? I leave that question up to you.
Whatever has been said above is upper layers. Let’s dive into a deeper abyss. I believe that our desires are guiding us towards the realization of their futility. Let us understand this with some examples. We get frightened when we realize that our desires are something which we shouldn’t desire! What do I mean by that? For example when we are in a relationship with our beloved partner. He/She is caring and pouring their heart and soul into you. They were the exact person that you always dreamt of. You are holding hands, gazing at each other, and walking across the beach and suddenly you see a desirable man/woman gaze at you and just for a split second, a thought crosses your mind. “Oh, she is beautiful!”, “What a lovely body!”. What is it in that stranger that attracts you soo much? And now you are filled with thoughts in your mind about that person. You maybe be with the person you love but your mind is filled with thoughts for that specific stranger. Here the game starts. The person which is unknown, invoked some ‘feature’ of his in your mind which your partner lacks! It is so simple as that. The lacking thing in your partner is being projected by that person. We all know that we are not perfect in ourselves. All lack something or the other. A person may be tall but not romantic, a person may be romantic but he is short. And even if a person has all qualities in him or her, you will always manage to find new talents, features, and ideas of the next person pleasing you, am I right?. Now, why does it happen like this? What’s the fundamental reason that drives us towards this type of thinking. Simply, it’s the desire my friend. Nature wants you to desire everything possible, as many and infinite things as possible because that’s the way how universe sustains itself.
since childhood, we have all been conditioned that God fulfills all our desires, hence praying to god. As we grow up with this notion we see that some of our desires were not fulfilled or we can say that some events, circumstances, and other things didn’t manifest according to our will and desires, so we blamed god. And it is simple to make out this play. The non-believers in god had bad experiences in the past so they don’t believe in god whereas the people who had most of their desires fulfilled, believed in god. It’s simple. The object of desire was fulfilled. Your degree of belief in God depends upon the degree of your desires manifesting according to your mind. I hope you liked my thoughts and I will be happy to see yours in the comment section.

The word ‘Meditation’ has been used widely since time immemorial. When we hear this word, we conjure up in our mind that there is a half-naked yogi sitting under a tree with his eyes closed. Yes, that is the thought that builds up in our minds. Even many people have tried meditation but as soon as they sit for it, their restless body-mind complex doesn’t agree with the meditator’s intention. Meditation has to be understood carefully to fully reap its benefits.
There are various aspects and styles of meditation. But let us understand the deep meaning of meditation. Meditation is the act of separating yourself from the mind-body complex for some time. Now, what do I mean by separating? We are daily haunted by the number of thoughts that flash up in our minds. As soon as we wake up, all our past memories and future worries start to dance in our minds. These thoughts say, “Hey! Common man, Think me…Think me”. And we know the rule that “Where attention goes, energy flows”. I know we need to think about certain life situations, but the mind pops into our 10-year-old memory and we unconsciously start thinking and giving our attention to this thought feeding it with our energy. “As a man thinketh, so is he!”. Our current lives which we are living out right now at this moment is the manifestation of our thoughts. Thoughts have been ruminated (thought over) again and again become our beliefs and these beliefs shape our brain and the brain ensures that it will attract similar situations and events in our life. Then we say, “But, I didn’t attract that backstabbing boyfriend/girlfriend in my life!”. I will try to simplify it according to my capacity and experience. Let’s dive into this.
From our childhood, the faintest clue we have, from when our actual living experience emerged. In simple words, we have our beginning memory of our life utmost from 3-4 years of age. Before that, everything is blank. It didn’t mean that we never existed. Only the accumulation of memory began from 3-4 years of age. We then started observing and learning from the environment around us. Our parents, teachers, friends, relatives, and other people, directly and indirectly, had an impact on our way of believing and perceiving this very world. Dr. Bruce Lipton has said that 95% of the life of an individual is decided from the first 7 years of his life. Now, what does this mean? My dear friend, The backstabbing boyfriend/girlfriend you attracted towards you as a result of the subconscious beliefs and perceptions that got built and programmed into you since childhood (That too the programs were built into you not as per your choice!). In the infamous book “The secret”, it has been said that, “like attracts like”.
Now I will go into the process of how this happens so that you can have a clear idea.
1) First you observe your environment.
2) Your way of thinking is affected by it.
3) Your Thoughts attract a certain person with the same energy.
4) You realize that he is a backstabber.
5) The situation you face builds up a pattern of thoughts.
6) Recurring thought patterns built up certain beliefs.
7) Then you attract the same situation, but the person will be different
8) He too turns out to be a backstabber!
9) Now this event solidifies your belief even more greatly into your subconscious mind because you had a similar experience before and you conclude, “The world is full of backstabbers!”.
10) This thought pattern, even more, solidifies and concretizes your belief into a strong perception about your world.
11) And the process repeats.
Everybody has built up his or her own private universe according to their strong beliefs about this universe. The relationships, jobs, circumstances, events, people, and situations that are right now in your life are entirely your own making. If this one point is accepted, the blame game comes to a halt and the person has an epiphany. Now he may ask, “but what can I do to undo this?”. Now let’s understand this. Right now you are acting as a magnet to certain situations. Just changing your frequency, energy, and vibration, your whole life structure can be altered. Here comes the hidden power of meditation. Meditation is nothing more but the process of distancing yourself from the mind-body complex for some time. People are confused when the term meditation pops out in their minds. Any act can become meditative. Even the person can be washing utensils and still be meditative. In short, becoming one with the thing you are doing is the act of meditation. Meditation is a way of being. There are many different meditation techniques across the world. Any meditation technique which suits you ( helps to calm down the wheels of the mind) can be used primarily in the beginning. But as soon as you start moving deeper into your being, all meditation practices of yours will drop away slowly. You will reach a point in your life where just meditation will become a way of your being. Meditation calms down the analytical mind (thinking mind) and in the process of subconscious programming (changing beliefs that are hardwired into your system), you just can be given suggestions from someone (or self-suggestion) to rewire your brain and thus altering your beliefs and changing your whole perception of life. Ancient yogis and mystics knew the power of the subconscious mind (god, the universe, being, whatever you may name it) and they altered their own energies and vibrations to make this world a better place.
In my other blog, I have shared the most powerful meditation technique ever specially designed by lord shiva (the first yogi). Click here to read the blog. There are primarily 112 techniques of meditation, passed on from the shiva to the entire humanity. There are many subconscious programs altering meditations out there. Personally, I felt that meditations developed by dr Joe Dispenza are very powerful and you can try and experiment with them (I am not an affiliate). Click here to access these meditations. If you are interested in making changes in your life (at a subconscious level) you can use many techniques out there. I hope you liked my thoughts and feel free to comment yours.

We often say to some people when they don’t behave according to our command, “Are you out of your mind?”. Now, what does mind mean? Many ancient sages and spiritual seers tried to explain it in their words but still, the mechanics of mind will always remain elusive. I have prepared a small poem in the glory of the Mind
Oh Mind!
Your feathers are ready to swallow the sky
Oh Mind!
Your legs are ready to conquer the earth
Oh Mind!
Your body is swifter than the wind
Oh Mind!
Your Nature is adaptive as water
Oh Mind!
Your fiery grace is shining like fire
Oh Mind!
You are the primal god manifest, and in your womb contains all the infinite manifestations of the divine!
In a simplified way, the structure of the mind is built by different types of thoughts. Thoughts consist of different imagery and sounds that are driven by memories. The most important element or we can say the fuel of the mind is ‘desire’. Mind is an important tool to help us navigate in this 3-Dimensional world. In yogic lore, it has been said that ‘Mind was the first god’. Mind is the manifestation of the unspeakable. In Hindu tradition, it has been said that ‘Om’ was the first sound that emanated from the unspeakable lord. From that instance, all this gross world manifested. A bunch of thoughts built up a mind. As the ultimate had his first thought of creation, similarly we also have thoughts going on continuously in our mind. Thoughts are the raw material of the mind. It is also said that “ As you thinketh, so you are”.
Mind is married to Matter in a complex union. For example, when an external environment triggers havoc in our inner environment, we start generating thoughts. And afterward, these thoughts affect our body and in a fraction of a second, the body starts to feel emotions(Energy in motion). For Example, how we tend to salivate just by seeing a photo of some tasty doughnut. The mind influences the body in a fraction of time. Mind and body are so happily married just like water and salt in saline water.
The nature of the mind is just like a mirage. Just as a mirage shows its evidence when we see it from a distance, but when we come close to it, it simply disappears. Similarly, the mind when sought in meditation, when we look for it deeply, it disappears. When we say to people to ‘’use your mind’’, it means to use your personal solidified filter of thoughts to make sense of the present situation. The mind is known and we are always interpreting the unknown and mysterious life situations and try to tackle them with the known faculties. When we wear blue shade sunglasses, we see the world in a blue shade. Similarly, when we wear orange sunglasses, everything appears in the shade of orange. So did the natural colors emitting from the world change? No, only the change in color of shades made the whole world appear different. Similarly, all situations in our life are neutral. Only the mental attitudes whose building blocks are constructed by specific beliefs, different people look at the same situation differently. For example, If someone steals our wallet, one person might get very angry and say, “I will kill the thief who stole from my pocket”. While some other person’s attitude would be entirely on the other polarity. He would say something like, “Ok, my wallet has been stolen, I got an opportunity to purchase a brand new wallet!”. Same situation, but different approaches depending upon the filter of the mind.
The mind likes routine. A mind is a divine tool provided to us to carry on our daily activities. But when the mind becomes the master, then hell is not so far. Heaven and hell are two different states of mind. In the famous treatise known as Dasbodh, saint Ramdas has said that
“Mind is the fraction of atman, space is the fraction of brahman”
The mind takes the shape of our desires, the Mind is desire! The tranquility of the mind is inversely proportional to the intensity of a desire. The hidden powers of the mind are invoked by authority. Some people need an outer authority to invoke their inner authority(the self) while some people believe in themselves at such extremes that no outer authority is needed.
All the efforts of the East were to develop techniques to calm the mind. Because when the disturbed puddle is left alone, it shows its true nature as the dust settles. There are many spiritual techniques to calm the high currents of the mind. The two most simple and my favorite techniques I used are
- Mantra Meditation
- Breath Awareness Meditation
Both of these techniques are so simple that You can start doing it right away without further guidance. Still, I will explain in short how to do both of the techniques.
- Mantra Meditation
The word Mantra can be divided into two components:- ‘Man’ means the mind and ‘tra’ means to go beyond. Mantra is nothing but a syllable that is designed to invoke the lord’s power. There are many ancient mantras or specific syllables which were used for varied purposes. You can choose any mantra of your choice which represents a deity that is your favorite. Now the mantra acts as a tranquilizer. Mantra is a thought repeated in our mind to remove or replace other thoughts which are making us anxious and worried.
Steps
- Choose a deity that resonates with you.
- Choose its associated mantra.
- Chant it loudly (If you are very energetic) or else chant it slowly (if you are less energetic).
- Use a rosary.
- Chant it with full faith and conviction.
2) Breath Awareness
This technique is the most powerful technique I have come across. It’s so simple that people can reap the benefits instantly. The steps are
- Get comfortable in an armchair or sit down
- Close your eyes and just follow the breath
- Follow the breath as it goes inside and outside of your body
- Trace its path and move your awareness through it
- If thoughts come to your mind, don’t get angry, just bring it back to your breath
- Meditate without expectations
I tried to simplify and condense some essential thoughts of mine. Hope you liked it. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.

I am no authority to speak on death as I am still alive and writing this blog on death. Ok, Jokes apart, Death is an inevitable phenomenon in our life that is taboo to speak on and I would like to share my thoughts and near-death experiences on it. Death and Life may seem like opposite polarities but they are intrinsically connected. In India, we have many schools of thought like Advaita Vedanta, Shaivism, Tantra, and much more to name a few. Each religion of the world has tried to explain death in its own terminology.
Now, what is death? When a living organism doesn’t move as it was first moving a.k.a the animating principle is vanished, the organism is declared dead. We are seeing and observing death all over our vicinity. For example, the snake eating the rat, two lions fighting till death, or if I am allowed to write in a complex manner that the living sprouts come out of the dead seed. Does the seed have to die to give life to a new sprouting plant?
Why do we fear death? Actually, we don’t fear death as we all know that it’s an unknown leap into infinity. What we actually fear is the loss of the known faculties. Known faculties being our money, our possessions, our family and friends, and other aspects of our life. Now, why don’t we want to die? Because all our empires will be demolished. Now anybody who has dodged the dagger of death will fall into its lap one day or another. If we investigate upon ourselves, our body cells are dying each minute with the regeneration of new ones. Our body cells are in a process. Even our breath has to leave for a few seconds from our body so that a new one can enter. There is the death of breath and aliveness of breath. Now we talked about the flesh body and the pranic body. Now we are also in our mental body. Our thoughts, emotions, perceptions, beliefs, feelings, and much more incomprehensible contents of the mind are in constant flux. Our thoughts come alive and go dead or vanish in unfathomable time frames. The same applies to every other aspect of the mind. Now it may seem like life and death are happening simultaneously. Now if we think with full momentum about death and mortality, we really cannot think about it. Because death is not a stoppage but a continuum. In India, Hinduism and Buddhism believe in reincarnations. That means when one life form ends, it is transformed into a new life form. Hinduism believes in Atman or the soul while Buddhist believes in anatta or ‘No self’. Now when we see a dead body, only the animating principle is not present and so it is declared dead.
As I grew fond of idol worshipping of Lord Dattatreya to currently fond of worshipping lord Mahakala (lord shiva’s form of the ruler of time), and from there, my daily living experience changed a lot. I somehow experience micro deaths from time to time as I carry out my daily routine. See if we can get a little complicated here. First, the ancient seers and yogis knew the secret of the universe and they downloaded it into their very minds (from akashic records). They came up with a term or you can call it a device named moksha or liberation. Hindu cosmic theory consists of four yugas. So these yugas are manifesting linearly as well as non-linearly at the same time. Yes, it may seem like a paradox but I will try my best to explain this. Four yugas consist of satya yuga, treta yuga, dwapar yuga and kali yuga(currently going on). So let’s investigate further into this. Each particular yuga has three other latent yugas embedded microcosmly in them. For let’s take a simple example. A universe is a defined space-time combination with limits attached to them. A simple atom behaves like a micro-universe. A simple human being with its complexity behaves like a micro-universe. So for each person, according to his perceptions, he creates a universe of his own. He projects a specific universe with his private lens of senses and perception, creating a personal universe out of this infinite cosmic eternal universe. The yuga cosmology was developed by the seers so that we can maintain our karmic bondages to carry out our appropriate individual function and play our part in this world. If there is a village where all people adhere to the conduct of truth and purity (Satya Yuga), then that specific area has been initiating a small form of Satya-yuga in that specific space-time dimensions and that micro Satya-yuga is embedded in the macro kali-yuga. Similarly, where chants of Radhe-Krishna are going on, that specific dimension colours itself of a micro dwapar-yuga in macro kali-yuga. So the creation, sustenance, and transformation are going on endlessly and simultaneously. It is described linearly in the ancient philosophical texts because the mind cannot put together the thought of simultaneous eternal creation. The mind self-destructs when it touches the dimension of Brahmic consciousness(brahman is known as the ultimate non-dual reality in Advaita Vedanta). The brahman consumes the mind by bringing it to its natural state. So instead of saying that the god of death is lord shiva, he is a transformer. We can say that the transformer is energy-matter. The human form undergoes a transformation as it is mentioned in Bhagavad Gita where Krishna says to Arjun that the atman just changes the body as one changes his clothes or garments and puts on a new one. So the Atman( the true self of a living being) is never killed or can’t be slain.
So these were my thoughts. I hope you can understand this and become fearless when the taboo of death arises in your mind.
